St. Louis was good, at least for me... the night we got up there, Katie started feeling ill... so the day of the tournament was too sick to feel she could compete appropriately. She did suit up, went to the BB meeting, etc... but otherwise stayed off away from folks. I took 1st Place in Weapons, 1st Place in Forms, and 2nd Place in fighting, so not too bad.
Unfortunately no - we didn't get a call about it so didn't know the dates. I thought of it last weekend, and checked around to discover it was this weekend - but Katie and I are up in St. Louis this weekend to compete in the Midwest Martial Arts Association's St. Louis Showdown... so we will miss! It's too bad because we've always gone and get a lot out of them.
...course, having said that, its going to be a HOT one this year! Are you taking any students??
